Summer is over... thank god.

Back in July I had the big plan to turn hotaction.ca into a videoblog and it was going to be the hottest thing ever. Then my video camera got stolen. It did a good job of cramping my style. I didn't want to go back to plain old text-blogging because it felt like a step backwards.

There's a truism--you always see the best stuff when you don't have a camera with you. That's kind of what my August and September have been like. I feel half-blind without my handycam.

Not to mention my extensive collection of smoking-hot footage that I am now no longer capable of watching and enjoying in the privacy and comfort of my own home.

I have decided to kick-start this engine. I'm putting out an appeal for video submissions.

These days, many people have a digital camera or even a cellphone that's capable of shooting video. I'm asking you to take these devices along with you on your adventures. Portable technology will become the remote roving eye of the electronic voyeur.

The bedroom, the bathroom stall, the car park, the train tracks in the woods outside your house. Indoors, outdoors. Anywhere and everywhere all the time. My eyes are upon you. Get together with your friends. Have a few drinks. Create something you thing I would like.

Suggestive or explicit, anonymous or credited... Show me something. Make me ache to touch.
